Training Structure
Four years of structured excellence.
Each training year builds on the last — from foundational principles through to independent surgical practice and fellowship readiness.
Introduction to O&G principles, antenatal care, normal delivery, and essential gynaecological procedures. Develop clinical reasoning and documentation skills.
Advanced obstetric management, operative deliveries, laparoscopic basics, and gynaecological oncology principles. Rotating subspecialty attachments.
Complex surgical cases, high-dependency obstetric care, advanced laparoscopy, and urogynaecology. Leadership in clinical teams.
Research project, international subspecialty exposure, Part II examination readiness, and quality improvement leadership.

- Hold an MB ChB degree or internationally recognised equivalent
- Current, valid medical registration with your national regulatory body
- Confirmed placement at an ECSACOG-accredited training site
- Assigned supervisor who holds FCOG or equivalent fellowship qualification
- Proficiency in English (language of instruction and examination)
- Minimum of 12 months post-internship clinical experience preferred
- Recent passport-size photograph (colour, plain background)
- Certified copy of primary medical qualification (MB ChB or equivalent)
- Current certificate of medical registration
- Proof of application fee payment
- Comprehensive curriculum vitae (CV) with clinical experience
- Two letters of recommendation from senior medical practitioners
- Letter of support from head of department / training site director

Application Process

Complete the application form, upload all required documents, and pay the non-refundable application fee through our secure portal.
The admissions team verifies your qualifications and supporting documents. You will be notified of the outcome within 2–3 weeks.
Shortlisted candidates are invited to an interview (in-person or virtual) with the ECSACOG admissions panel.
Successful candidates receive a formal admission offer. Confirm your place by accepting the offer and paying the Year 1 tuition fee.
